I made these in the breadmaker on delay for my husband's work. I set it to be done around 5 am or so, then I got up and rolled them out and let them raise. They turned out excellent and so soft! I would change the cinnamon to 3 tsp and also add 1 more T. of water to the dough. We are making these an every Sunday morning tradition before church! Mmmmmmmmmm!!!
Very, very delicious! Definitely a must try!
This was my first attempt at making cinnamon rolls. With my bread machine doing all the hard work, these were a breeze. I baked them ahead, and served them on a ski trip. They were a hit with all. For the work required, these are a huge winner! The glaze was very nice too. I halved the glaze recipe, as I was short on powdered sugar, but still felt like I had enough. YUM!
Oh my goodness, these are so good!! I don't have a bread machine so just combined the dry ingredients (minus one teaspoon of sugar and the yeast). I mixed the yeast and teaspoon of sugar with 3/4 cup of tepid water, waited until it was foamy (about 10minutes) then added it and the butter to the dry ingredients. Mixed for about 5 minutes in my stand mixer, then followed the directions. I was very lucky to get a picture as the kids were hovering around the kitchen waiting for them to finish cooking. My only change was to put a drop of red food colouring in with the icing as hubby reckons it has to be pink. Yum!!!! Thank you for an excellent recipe!
OMG! These were soooooo good. The only thing I did different was I used brown sugar instead of the white sugar in the filling. These went so fast in my house!
These were so easy to make (to my surprise) and my kids said they were better than Cinnabon! What more could you ask for? This is great and I'll be making it again and again. Thanks so much for the recipe....:)
I have made this 3 times now and they never last more then a day. Be careful not to play too much with the dough when rolling out. It seemed to get tough this last time. Also, it is fabulous with the cream cheese icing....stepping it up a notch.
Very good and easy. Not my favorite cinnamon roll recipe but much better in the realm of being quicker (via bread machine) and they were good. I will definitely be making these on a more regular basis. I think brown sugar would probably make these taste sweeter. Thank you! I was able to make 14 rolls with mine.
These are so fluffy and delicious. I had some Betty Crocker vanilla icing on hand so I microwaved about 1/3 of a cup till it was drippy (don't let it bubble) and dabbled that over them instead of making icing. SO easy! Thanks, I'll be making this again :)
