Clear five stars!! I made two major changes - first, made it gluten free by using a gluten free bread mix for plain white bread, second, made it without Abm. Also I used rice milk for the milk and had to add a little water because the gluten free flour required more liquid. After rising 40 minutes, it baked 50 minutes at 400 degrees. The bread has a very nice crisp crust and is moist and chewy on the inside, is only a little sweet and has a wonderful gingerbread flavor. Not overpowering but just perfect for a toast.
