This is soooooo good! It's not overly sweet, even with 1/2 c sugar. 1 batch is closer to 10 servings than 2 or 4, which makes it only 1 WW pt/serving if you use skim milk! I put the milk mixture in the crock pot and let it go yesterday for NY Eve. Then, filled coffee mugs 1/2 full with coffee, the other half with the milk mixture, leaving room for whipped cream on top. We had a lot of milk mixture left over, put it in the fridge and we're enjoying it re-heated this morning. YUM!!!!!

  1. Use a 2-quart slow cooker; add the milk to the stoneware; whisk in the dried spices, sugar, and vanilla (do not add the coffee).
  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 3 hours (or HIGH for 1-2 hours).
  3. The milk should be quite hot, but if your slow cooker tends to get hot enough to boil, keep an eye on it--don't let the milk boil.
  4. Pour hot coffee into mug, then pour in milk mixture (leave room for garnish); top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of nutmeg, and a cinnamon stick.
