- 1 3⁄4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons ginger
- 4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon clove
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 cup maple syrup
- 1⁄8 cup honey
- 1⁄4 cup olive oil
- 1⁄3 cup skim milk
- 1 egg
directions
- Combine dry ingredients(taste for spices, I usually end up doing a little more or less of each depending on how it tastes to me).
- Add wet ingredients.
- Pour into a 8 inch round cake pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees (or until toothpick comes clean when put in middle).
