My Mum got this about 20 years ago from one of her friends along with another non-alcoholic punch. Great in the summer served chilled at a barbeque. Cooking time does not include chilling so please take that into account.
- 1 liter fresh orange juice
- 3 cups pineapple juice
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 (1 1/4 liter) pale dry ginger ale
- 2 oranges, segmented
- Combine juices, water and sugar in a pan. Stir over a low heat till sugar dissolves. Cool and chill.
- Add chilled ginger ale and orange segments just before serving.
Love, love, love it! Definitely hit the spot with this group, and will certainly be making again. I'm sure it's also beneficial for it's nutritional qualities (for fighting colds and flu bugs!). *PAC Autumn 2007*
