Directions

  1. Take the Onion,garlic,scallions,shallots,P‚ lemon juice.
  2. Sweat in the butter and olive oil.
  3. Place in chicken pieces and stock and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and add salt and pepper.
  5. Simmer for 2 hours.
  6. Place in bowl over slice of french bread drizzle olive oil and soy sauce.
  7. Enjoy!

Bekah, this soup is soooo good! I used homemade China Moon Double Chicken Stock (posted here on Recipezaar) for the stock. We omitted the bread and the soy sauce. The flavor is out of this world! It did take me an hour to prep instead of the 15 minutes stated, but it was well worth it! Maybe for somebody with better knife skills it would take less. In any case, I'm so glad I tried it, because my husband and I love it! Thank you!
