  • Beat butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs, syrup and bicarb of soda, dissolved in water.
  • Add dry ingredients.
  • Roll into balls and place on a baking tray.
  • Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C.

  1. Made a batch of these over the weekend. I found that the ginger flavour didn't come through very strong so will double the ginger quantity next time. Also, the cooking time was far shorter for me, around 15-20 minutes. The biscuits came out very nicely though, light and crunchie!
     
  2. Very easy to make. I halved the recipe also as 48 biscuits would easily expand my wasteline. Also i added more ginger.
     
  3. These biscuits were extremely yummy and also easy to make with my five year old. I halved the recipe and used a lot more ginger, as I just love very gingery things. Also they took 15 minutes to bake in my oven. Will definitely make these again, thankyou Nikki.
     
  4. These were ssssssssooooooooo good. i took them to school for a project and everyone begged me to make more, and to give themthe recipe. I had to convert the measurement though, its 2 sticks of butter and don't bake them for 30 minutes, but for 14.
