This recipe comes from the internet! Health in a glass, providing lots of antioxidants & omegas! NOTE: An additional ingredient is 1/8 cup of ground hempseed, but Zaar does not recognize it, so I'm including it here!

  1. Puree all SIX ingredients in blender until smooth.
  2. Pour into 2 tall glasses & enjoy!

Made this at the cottage this past weekend, using fresh blueberries, and two frozen bananas. It made a healthy and delicious start to the day. I forgot to bring the hempseed along, so look forward to trying it with that next time. The ginger gives a delicious zip, too! Thanks, Syd! Made for veggie swap 24.

Wow a tasty drink with antioxidants and omegas. The ginger does give a nice zing that is mellowed by the banana. DH said he liked and was surprised that strawberries and ginger went so well together. Thanks for the post.

This smoothie really does have a zing! I really liked the ginger in this recipe! Very fresh tasting. I did not have hemp seeds so left that out. I added a tablespoon of soy protein powder. This really gave me some energy. I will make this again!
