This takes the basic shrimp cocktail up quite a few notches. I've always liked the addition of a sweet taste, and had used maple syrup, but this time I used a sweet Thai chili sauce, and bam!
- 1 cup ketchup
- 11 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
- 1⁄3 cup sweet chili sauce (Found in Asian area at most supermarkets)
- Stir together.
This cocktail sauce is really delicious. It is great with boiled shrimp or crab claws or any other seafood that you wish to use it with. Loved the addition of the sweet chili sauce -- I keep this on hand all the time for various sauces and dishes. Will definitely make this again! Made for Spring PAC, April, 2013.
I loved this! Might be the best cocktail sauce I've had. I love the subtle spicy sweetness from the sweet chili sauce.
