Sick fighting flu and have 2 days to get well, so trying to make it happen.... this recipe warms the body up and helps getting rid of the germs, while being still nutritious and yummy.

This didn't get me well quick. I was still sick for about 4 days after I ate this. Maybe you're supposed to eat nothing but this soup? Anyhow, it was really good though, and I'd have it again.
- 2 cups red lentils
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground red chili pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 6 -8 garlic cloves
Directions See How It's Made
- Wash lentils well.
- Put in saucepen and fill up with 3 cups of water.
- Cook for 15 minutes.
- In another, smaller pan bring squashed garlic to boil in 1 cup of water adding all the spices.
- Mix the lentil soup with the garlic mixture and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
- Enjoy the meal.
