      Wash lentils well.

      Put in saucepen and fill up with 3 cups of water.

      Cook for 15 minutes.

      In another, smaller pan bring squashed garlic to boil in 1 cup of water adding all the spices.

      Mix the lentil soup with the garlic mixture and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
