I didn't find this recipe, this recipe found me. Seriously. Just the other day I was sad about not being able to eat unhealthy but enjoyable food anymore, including chocholate porridge my family insists on buying. Then I discovered this simple yet brilliant mix. Since I love banana, and cocoa is an acceptable sweetener, I was thrilled to 'cook' something again. That being said, I experimented a bit, and PERSONALLY found the addition of honey unnecessary, due to its bitter flavor. But I was never a fan of this particular product, so it might only be me. Also, after following the amount measures the first time, I added less cocoa - in fact, as little as half a teaspoon. It's enough to color the banana mush. A full tablespoon, and the only thing I taste is powder. I used extra dark cocoa, by the way. As for the banana, one medium is rather snack-sized, where at breakfast I found myself reaching for a second. What's important as well - don't crush the banana to a smoothie. Mush with chunks is far more enjoyable to chew, and makes for a longer eating session. All in all, I am very happy to have stumbled upon what I now call coconana. Definitely a delicious and healthy alternative to candy!

oh i could kiss you. I made this the minute i saw it. its wonderful to deal with the chocolate craving. Tried it cold and heated, like it heated best. both are good though. UPDATE! It has saved me a fortune in chocolate bars, and thousands of calories to have this at hand. I did discover using premium dutch processed cocoa is the best

I love cooking! Like seriously it's become quite an obsession...:S
Oh well, it's alot better than most things one could get hooked on. At least I'm keeping my friends and family happy :D
I'm really concerned about health 'and stuff' so I will modify any recipe to make it low fat/low sugar/high fibre etc. Sometimes it works whilst keeping the taste, sometimes it doesn't. I guess I'm just gonna keep trying until I can make every recipe something you won't feel guilty about eating...
Oh yea, I prefer using my microwave especially for baking, even though it's not even a microwave OVEN!
