Wonderful! I'm sorry I waited so long to try this! The only thing I might do differently is eliminate the salt....there is enough salt in the olives and cheese to flavor the chicken. Maybe add just a sprinkle at serving! Really enjoyed this yummy chicken dish....thanks for sharing!

Thanks for posting BK! I absolutely loved this and I don't even like green olives. I kept it totally as written and it was fabulous. The kids didn't care for it but don't let that stop you from eating it for a great adult dinner. All the adults had seconds. The flavors blend together perfectly. The lemon juice, mushrooms, green onions all fresh of course are great in this. Definitely a keeper. I will make for guests and me again.
Enjoy! ChefDLH

This is just plain spectacular. What outstanding flavor you get with this recipe. It's rich and bold without being overpowering in any direction. I have to admit that I didn't use the tomato paste (I never do in anything) and I passed on the cheese in order to save on the calories and fat. I totally love it even with my omissions. Bravo BK, bravo. Made for Photo Tag.

This was very tasty. I used chicken breasts but cut them into large pieces because they really varied in size. I used black olives because I do NOT like green olives! I also used Swiss cheese. Very easy dish with very nice results! Made for Went to the Market Tag. Thanks BK! :)

We really enjoyed this quick, easy, and flavorful chicken. The sauce with the mushrooms and onions compliment the chicken perfectly. I made this as written except that I didn't add the olives, and I used "lite" sour cream. Also, I couldn't bring myself to pay the price that my grocery store wanted for gruyere, so I used Swiss cheese instead. My family loved this and gave it 2-thumbs up. Thank you for sharing this wonderful dish...it is definitely a keeper.

I left out the olives as well, and the result was absolutely delicious. I love the combination of flavors that sour cream and white wine provide.

Wine, mushrooms, and green olives are featured in this classy dish, although some felt the green olives were too dominant. The chicken is buried deep in a rich, cheesy sauce. Made for Market Tag 2008.

Wow! is the best way to describe this. I made a 1/2 recipe and the only problem I had was with the garlic but that was self-inflicted! I forgot to roast the garlic ahead of time so was going to use minced garlic but forgot to add it to the coating so I threw it in the fry pan and then put it on top of the chicken breasts in the baking dish. It still was fine. I skipped the olives since we don't like them. I used swiss cheese since I had some to use up. I was confused about the salt and pepper since it says to add it with the flour coating and with the wine/sour cream mixture (I only added it to the flour mixture). I made this for Pick A Chef fall 2007 - cooking the 6 PAC.

My whole family found this meal outstanding! My 16 year old son first asked his to be served with no vegies - but when he realized he would lose the cheese too - he even ate the vegies. So this got thumbs up from all of us. A great meal!
