German Chocolate Upside Down Cake

  1. Spread coconut and pecans in bottom of greased 9x13 inch pan.
  2. Mix and bake cake as directed on box.
  3. Cool.
  4. Punch holes in cake.
  5. Mix Eagle Brand Milk and cocoa lopez and pour over cake.
  6. Frost with cool whip and top with shredded coconut.

The directions for this cake make no sense -- it says to bake the cake first, and then the second step is to put coconut and pecans in a 9 x 13 pan. Seems to me steps 1 and 2 are reversed, and some steps are missing in between!
