- 354.88 ml evaporated milk
- 354.88 ml granulated sugar
- 5 egg yolks (beaten)
- 177.44 ml butter (not margarine)
- 591.47 ml broken pecans
- 630.98 ml flaked coconut (not shredded)
- 9.85 ml vanilla
directions
- In a medium saucepan place the evaporated milk, sugar, butter, and beaten egg yolks.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- When it starts to bubble and get thick, remove from the heat.
- Add the pecans and coconut and then the vanilla.
- Spread on cooled cake.
- Enjoy!
