I admit to having been somewhat leery of this recipe. I mean, BBQ sauce and sauerkraut???...puleeze!! My curiosity got the best of me, though, when I came home one evening and was absolutely starved. I needed something quick and easy. If nothing else, this recipe met those requirements ....dinner was on the table in 30 minutes. Well, we were sure happy campers. It really is good and you will not find an easier recipe on the planet, I swear. I will definitely make this one again. Leftovers are even better. Thanks for posting, Audrey.

This was really good. I used Sweet Baby Rays barbecue sauce. We had it along with potato chunks. I loved the ease of putting this recipe together and it was on the table in no time. We will be making this one again sometime.

This was very easy to put together and had a unique flavor. I cooked the chicken (45 minutes) covered so it came out moist. The sauerkraut added something special to this chicken without loads of calories. ....But, my family didn't like it.

This was so tasty and easy. I love sauerkraut in almost any way, but had never combined it with chicken or BBQ sauce. I used Jack Daniels Hickory Honey sauce. This was so easy! I served this with mashed potatoes. Thank you Audrey for an awesome and easy recipe.

We really liked this. I used a spicy BBQ sauce and it turned out a little spicy for my taste (my husband liked it!). I want to try it next with a honey BBQ sauce. I served it over mashed potatoes.

Have never been a big fan of sauerkraut but felt that the German leg of the 'Zaar World Tour would not be complete without one dish incorporating this ingredient. Image my surprise when I enjoyed this so much my biggest comment is make extra so that you can enjoy a good sized portion of the fermented cabbage. I used a bold & spicy BBQ sauce and it mellowed and joined nicely with the cabbage. I cooked my chicken for 45 minutes as it was rather thick, with the cabbage underneath and foil on top it remained moist and tender. So simple, so good. Thanks Audrey.

Talk about simple! I used a Misquite BBQ sause and it gave the chicken and Sauerkraut a great taste. I did cook it longer than 30 mins, more like 45. Tastes great even if not a big Sauerkraut fan.
