I admit to having been somewhat leery of this recipe. I mean, BBQ sauce and sauerkraut???...puleeze!! My curiosity got the best of me, though, when I came home one evening and was absolutely starved. I needed something quick and easy. If nothing else, this recipe met those requirements ....dinner was on the table in 30 minutes. Well, we were sure happy campers. It really is good and you will not find an easier recipe on the planet, I swear. I will definitely make this one again. Leftovers are even better. Thanks for posting, Audrey.


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a 9x13" baking dish, place the sauerkraut in a single layer.
  3. Place the chicken on top of the sauerkraut.
  4. Pour the barbecue sauce over the chicken.
  5. Cover and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked and the juices run clear.
