- Combine crackers, 1/2 cup of sugar, and pecans.
- Beat egg whites until stiff, add the other 1/2 cup of sugar and fold into cracker mixture. Pour into well-buttered 9-inch pie plate and bake for 35 to 45 minutes at 325°F.
- Mix the maple flavoring into the Cool Whip and put on top of each slice before serving.
