  1. Melt butter in skillet.
  2. Slice apples and put in skillet.
  3. Cover and cook until half done (10 minutes).
  4. Add sugar and stir.
  5. Cover and cook until desired consistency.
  6. Stir in cinnamon and cook for 2 to 3 more minutes.

These are delicious fried apples. I made them using 1 tablespoon butter to cut the fat & brown sugar splenda. They were DELICIOUS, taste as good as apple pie, served them with sugar free ice cream. Thanks for posting this yummy recipe.

I grew up eating apples cooked this way. My mom learned it from my grandma and I learned it from her. Everyone loves this dish. Thanx for posting. It is comfort food for me.
