This is a great cold soup for those hot summer days. I like to serve this for dinner parties and always get rave reviews.
- 4 large ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1⁄2 cucumber, chopped
- 1⁄4 cup green pepper, chopped
- 4 tablespoons salad oil
- 1 cup tomato juice
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon grated onion
- 1⁄2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- fresh ground pepper
- 1 dash Tabasco sauce
- Blend all ingredients in blender; blend well and cool.
- Serve ice cold.
