  • Place potatoes and garlic in heavy medium pot. Cover potatoes with water. Add 1 teaspoon salt. Bring to boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium; cover and simmer until potatoes are tender when pierced with skewer, about 25 minutes.
  • Drain. Return potatoes and garlic to pot. Add whipping cream and butter. Using potato masher, mash until well blended. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  3. These are my solution to mashed potatoes. I don't really care for potatoes on a regular basis, but these are easy and yummy! I added some real bacon bits as well as some parmesan. I also had a little bit of feta cheese left in the fridge that I through in there. Delicious!

  1. I made this with roasted garlic and we sure did enjoy it! I used 1/2 cup low fat milk in place of the cream. Thanks for the comforting potatoes!
