Garlic Tomato Bruschetta

From an old Taste of Home issue 2002. The best I've ever had.

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine oil, basil. garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add tomatoes and toss.
  3. Sprinkle with cheese.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  5. Bring to room temperature before serving (optional).
  6. Slice the bread and toast in the broiler if desired.
  7. Top with tomato mixture.

Made as written and this was delicious! I did cut it down for DH and I but we really enjoyed this. Definately one I will make again. Made for My 3 Chefs October 2013 tag game.
