I used reisling wine, I thought I had white until I went to add it. It still turned out pretty good. I only wish that the liquid was more of a sauce. I served over angel hair pasta with a sprinkling of italian bread crumbs and fresh grated parm on top. I will make again with white wine and maybe try to thicken the sauce. Thanks for a quick and easy recipe!
Very good. I doubled the amount of lemon peel and served this with sticky rice. Very filling.
This recipe is good, definitely a keeper for fresh garden asparagus. The end product seemed ver runny, so I added cornstarch, other then that no changes.
DH and I had this for lunch the other day. I followed all instructions and ingredients as posted and served over angel hair. It is absolutely delicious! Easy to prepare, wonderful flavor---I will definitely be making this again in the future! Thanks, chia!
This was very good, but unfortunately I decided to use frozen asparagus. Big mistake! Stick with the fresh stuff, you will be much happier, the flavor is great.
I made a half recipe of this for a wonderful quick dinner for two. So simple, with really great flavor. I served this over angel hair.
Just finished this tonight. It was absolutely delicious. I didn't use wine, instead I used a cup of chicken stock. I cooked the asparagus a tad longer than 5 minutes at the beginning. The only thing I will do different next time is make sure there is a little less crushed red pepper... half a pinch? :P Otherwise fantastic.. even my steak and potatoes man loved it!
I really enjoyed this recipe my dh however thought it was just ok. I will be making this again and especially enjoyed the juice made by this recipe. I sopped up the juice with bread. lovely dish!!!
Chia, We loved this recipe. I added lemon zest, green onions and mushrooms. The flavors were awesome. This is an elegant meal the is sooooooooo easy to pull together and cooks in no time. THANKS I will make this again!
This was a quick and easy dish to prepare. My husband and I enjoyed it but it was missing something for us. We found it a little bland for our tastes. But still made a good quick mid-week meal. Thanks!
