Try a Garlic, Rosemary, Potato Vodka Martini please -- mashed, not stirred.''
- 2 ounces potato vodka
- 1 dash dry vermouth
- garlic-stuffed olives, to garnish
- fresh rosemary, stem with a couple leaves
- Skewer the olive on the rosemary stem. Combine vodka and vermouth with 6 ice cubes in a shaker. Shake very well. Strain and serve in a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the skewered olive.
Yum, light on the vermouth, heavy on the olives. I repeat, yum!
Awesome! Just what I needed after a VERY hard day! I used Luksusowa Vodka that I keep in the freezer. Had to use a regular olive cuz I didnt have any garlic stuffed- that would be awesome though! Thanks Rita for making my very bad day oh so much better!
Well, I love dry martini's, mashed potatoes and olives, so what's not to love? A great alternative to plain old olives in a martini. I pushed the rosemary sprigs thru 2 olives for each martini and then let them soak in a bit of really good potato vodka for a while before my DH made the martini's. Thanks for posting! I think we'll serve these at our next get-together.
