This is a good basic recipe using ingredients you commonly have on hand. It saved me a trip tonight to the store in the pouring rain! Family loved them and I'll use to make roasted potato salad tomorrow with leftovers.

Great potatoes! I mixed the butter, potatoes, and lots of garlic in a ziploc bag. Also sprinkled with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper after taking them out of the oven. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Love Garlic love these potatoes! I used dry garlic flakes and mashed them a bit. I cut back on the butter and added 2 tbsp olive oil I wasn't sure if the butter would brown too much on it's own. Put the garlic, oil & butter into a zip lock bag added the potatoes and coated them all evenly. Done perfectly in just under an hour. Added salt & Pepper. Thanks for a wonderful potato recipe Sandaidh

I do something so close to this that there's no way I could post another recipe. They're *yummy*!!! As soon as I take them out of the oven, I season them with sea salt and lots of freshly ground black pepper. A hit of chili powder is good, too. This is one of my favorite ways to do potatoes. (Now I wish I wasn't watching my carb intake so closely!) Thanks for posting. :)
