Fabulous presentation! And, not that difficult to do if you pay attention to what you're doing. We found the flavour a little bland and dry. It seemed like there was too much of the herb mixture. I thought the flavour could have been heightened if the potatoes were drizzled with butter.
Wow - so elegant and easy to do! I made three tonight in the microwave and served with Crock Pot Lemon Turkey Breast which seemed to compliment each other just right. My taters took about 12 minutes in my 1300wt microwave. I made these ahead of time, wrapped in plastic and then put them in the fridge for about 1.5 hours until dinner was nearly ready. Took them out, popped them in the microwave and taadaaa, wonderful potatoes with our turkey.
Made & reviewed for the Cookathon in Support of kzbhansen. Fabulous! I love these potatoes - the whole family does! They are very simple & quick to put together & make lovely sides to a variety of dishes, this time we had them with roast chicken. Thanks Karen!
This was so tasty - We loved them. I foil wrapped them and used a "no oil" spray on top of the garlic & herbs. I should have baked tthen open in the oven and will next time. Thanks Karen - I'm thinking about cha!
I also made these potatoes for Karen, and so glad I found them, they are delicious. I wrapped mine in foil and baked them in the oven for 1 hour at 350f degrees, turned out delicious! Definately will be making these again, thanks for posting!!
I made these for the cookathon for kzbhansen 2009. These are so easy to make. I mixed up the ingerdients up early and let them blend for a few hours. Then I readied my potatoes and put the seasonings on. Wrapped them up and microwaved them. I only made 2 potatoes. these were fantastic. I made an extra serving of the seasoning blend to have with the potatoes. I think these will also be great sliced to the 1/4 inch thickness and layered in a casserole dish then baked. I will make these again when my husband is home. I said I made 2 potatoes. I ate one and saving one for a snack later. Thank you for a wonderful new potatoe recipe. It's a keeper.
