I tried making this and putting it in inexpensive bottles for holiday gifts. It went over very well.
It works and tastes good. I like a lot of garlic flavor so I heated it for longer and used a cracker to test it out along the way. After about 15 min it was nice and garlic-y.
This doesn't take very much effort. I'm not sure how to store olive oil in the fridge because it will solidify; seems ok in a cool, dark cabinet. This is really great to have on hand.
This very versatile oil can be used with just about any dish from salads to meats to potatoes. Great garlic flavor and always on hand when you need it. You'll never go wrong with a bottle of this in the refrigerator. Thanks for sharing ANOTHER great recipe, Sugarpea.
