  • Mix the garlic, chopped green onion tops and bottoms, and the oil thoroughly.
  • Add the mayonnaise and blend the mixture well, until the oil is absorbed into the mayonnaise.
  • Cover and chill.
  • SUGGESTED DIPPERS: Asparagus, Red Bell Pepper, Broccoli, Potato
  • Skins, Roast Beef, Turkey

  2. This is GREAT!! I used a little more olive oil... then added fresh cilantro and lime juice.. As a dip for empanadas. Will make this often!
     
  3. DH and I were at a restaurant and had tortilla espanola and this dip was on the side. This was exactly like the dip at the restaurant and is a perfect match for tortilla espanola ( use Recipe #193818) Thank you so much for a delicious recipe!
     
  4. If you LIKE this recipe you will LOVE my variation. Replace the 2 cups of mayo to 1 CUP. Mix in 2 CUPS fresh grated PARMESAN cheese. OMIT the olive oil. Mix the rest ( green onion, garlic ) with the above changes. Slice a fresh baguette in 2 inch slices. Spread with this DIVINE mixture and place under the broiler / grill till browned and bubbley. To DIE for !! Wonderful with any meal or use as a pass around hor's on a platter. ;)
     
  5. Modified this recipe by using 1 cup of mayonnaise and 1 cup of greek yogurt. Added extra garlic... was a HIT by young and old!!!
