I got a bad chest cold and this did pretty well to soothe it. Just make sure to put in enough honey or else it'll taste like garlic water. I also added some ginger to help fight off the headache that comes with being sick, and can help with upper respitory. You need about half the amount of ginger as you have garlic.

The 5 stars right now are mostly for flavor and soothing. I do not have a cold, but I have had one heck of a cough for the past week. I suffer from allergies and the mold content is high right now. I have had this tea before, minus the garlic and the boiling. I worried that the garlic taste would ruin it for me, but it didn't. The only thing I can contest to, is that my cough has relaxed quite a bit. For how long though, I do not know. Thank you Netgirl for this right here and now moments of relief! Let me know when you find that perfect healthy spaghetti and meatballs recipe!
