- 8 ounces dried pasta shapes
- 1 ounce butter
- 8 ounces button mushrooms, halved
- 1 ounce plain flour
- 1 1⁄4 cups milk
- 2⁄3 cup single cream
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic, minced
- salt & pepper
- 8 ounces ham, diced
directions
- Cook pasta in boiling, salted water. Drain. Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan and fry mushrooms for 2-3 minutes. Add flour. Blend in milk, cream, garlic and seasoning.
- Bring to the boil, stirring. Add ham and cook for 1-2 minutes. Toss into pasta.
