  1. So yum! Thank you for posting this. I like the idea of giving it for a Christmas gift.

  2. I tried this, omitting the sugar. I baked and baked and it seemed to do nothing, so put under broiler for a minute or so. It now is a nice addition to salads.I also plan to try it as a sprinkle on casseroles! Thanks for a great idea.

  3. This is delish. I am making this for my specialty Christmas Baskets and I know it will be a big hit. I doubled the garlic! Saving some for myself too, as I also doubled the recipe. Thank you for this little gem

  4. It's a treat to top off a salad with your Garlic crunch. I doubled the recipe. It is so economical to make, ingredients I always have in the house and did I mention it is delicious. I will have some of this on hand all the time. Thanks Christiane in PA for a real winner

I currently live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, although that will be changing shortly. I was living in Guatemala for the past few months, and plan on returning for a 2 year teaching assignment this coming January. I have always loved to cook, and the more complicated recipe, the better. I also love any type of ethnic food, so most of the recipes you see in my cookbook are of that variety.
