The recipe comes from the Junior League cookbook, Beyond Burlap. Parmesan cheese may be sprinkled on just before serving for a tangy taste.
- Cook green beans to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add garlic; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until garlic is tender, stirring frequently.
- Pour garlic butter over cooked green beans; stir to coat.
Great way to dress up frozen green beans. I used whole organic green beans from Costco and sprinkled with fresh Parmesan before serving. Fast, yummy, and attractive enough for guests. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
