I have been looking for a great broccoli recipe, and I think I have found it. Only change I made was to add 2-3 cloves of garlic, and do leave out the lemon juice (personal preferance). Thanks so much for sharing! I will have to make this again soon.
Heather, this was great. I added extra garlic and plenty of extra pepper. It is easy enough to make all the time but good enough to serve to guests. It will definatly make regular appearances on my dinner table!
Ahhh, I LOOOVE broccoli!! This is a really tasty way to prepare it. I also added a little more garlic. I decreased the salt to just a sprinkling and added about 1/2 tsp. or so of soy sauce. YUMMY!!! This would also be good with a broccoli/cauliflower mix. Thanks! ~Manda
What a wonderful way to prepare broccoli. I did increase the amount of garlic and added some gresh ginger which I think made a big difference. Thanks for something different!!!
Awesome! I really love broccoli and am usually extremely content to steam my broccoli with a little lemon juice and garlic salt. But this, was extra special, relatively healthy, and made a nice side dish for a special occasion holiday dinner with the hubby. (I made it with the Honey Mustard Basil Salmon http://www.food.com/recipe/honey-mustard-basil-salmon-95294) and was able to use the extra leftover lemon juice I squeezed this morning.
I always appreciate a recipe I can make from what I already have stocked in my pantry. I used a 1 lb. bag of frozen broccoli and the 5-10 minute steaming time was perfect to get the right shade of green.
It's a wonderful thing when the side dish outshines the entree, and I have to say this did. A wow with every bite.

This was a good recipe. one of my girls loved it and the other did not. I think next time I may use less lemon and more garlic. I may also saute the sauce in the last minute of the broccoli cooking.

We eat broccoli almost every night with dinner, so I'm always interested in different ways to serve it up. This is a great recipe. I loved the garlic flavor and the olive oil/lemon juice was a great combination. Thank you!
I used all the ingredients listed, but added more garlic. Used the lesser cooking time to keep my broccoli bright green. I enjoyed this side dish very much, but think I'll decrease the lemon next time. Nice way to serve broccoli! Made for Best of 2010 Tag game! Congrats for being included in the best!
