Garlic goes in almost everything at our house, or at least it seems. My husband always jokes that we'll never have to worry about vampires. So of course, I have a garlic bread recipe. I don't know where I got it, I guess i just made it up.
- 1 loaf unsliced French bread
- 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- Slice French bread into 1 inch slices, on the diagonal. Combine remaining ingredients and stir well. Spread butter mixture onto bread slices. Broil for about 5 minutes at mid level rack.
Good bread that went well with spaghetti. If I make this again, I would add more garlic and parsley flakes, but that is simply our tastes.
