I really enjoyed this garlic bread but I noticed that it was a bit too spicy. I served it to my family (6 guests) and I bet that at least a couple of them might have thought it was a bit too spicy but it seemed that most of them gobbled it up. I would recommend taking it down a couple of notches by reducing the amount of white pepper and cayenne pepper. Maybe only a half teaspoon of white pepper and a fourth teaspoon or less of cayenne pepper is all that is needed.person found this review Helpful. This is the best garlic bread that i have eaten! Left out the white pepper because i didn't have it.
Not sure how close it is to Mike Anderson's because i haven't eaten there in a while. Next time i'll have to compare!

This was good! I made this as directed with cracked black pepper. I'm thinking that next time, I might try adding all of the ingredients to softened butter - I wasn't sure why it needed to be melted. But it sure was good! Thanks Melissa for a great keeper. Made for I Recommend Tag.people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful...
