Garlic Black Pepper Shrimp

- 2 lbs jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined (leaving tail on is optional but makes for a beautiful presentation)
- 8 tablespoons real butter (1 stick no substitute)
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, juiced
- seasoning salt (like Season-All)
- warm French bread
directions
- Season the peeled shrimp with the seasoned salt; set aside.
- Melt butter in skillet, add shrimp and tossing to cook until pink. Sprinkle lemon juice, oregano, black pepper and garlic over the shrimp. Simmer 12-15 minutes, stirring occassionaly; do not overcook. Adjust salt to taste if needed.
- Serve with warm French bread to soak up sauce.
