      simply delicious and so easy to prepare. i wanted to serve this tomorrow, chilled, but my family was drawn into the kitchen by the wonderful aroma of roasted garlic, and had to have it hot. we enjoyed it very much. i plan to take some cold soup to work tomorrow and wiil cut some fresh chives into it. i also added freshly ground white pepper. great recipe

      I hate to give a poor hating but this soup was like a normal potato soup. I expected a stronger garlic flavor. But the roasted garlic flavor did not come through at all.

      Easy to make and very yummy! I made ahead the garlic the night before to cut prep time. It was great as is, although I think next time I'll leave in a few potato chunks just for more consistency.

      I also found this to be really good comfort food. I found a pound of frozen small shrimp in the freezer and after letting them thaw alittle, I tossed them for the last two minutes of cooking time. It was great.

      I made this with veggie broth so my DD could have some and I added a bit of dried dill. Hubby is very much a meat eater, but even he loved it. Thanks for posting this.
