These went great with our Easter feast of pork tenderloin and garlic mashed potatoes with chunky applesauce on the side. This is one of my favorite ways to make green beans. You should try it!
Deliciously garlicy! Love the crunchy addition of the slived almonds. Will make this again!
Pretty good! Both DH & I liked this. Thanks for sharing!
I love fresh green beans. These are perfect. I steamed them for 8 minutes along with the garlic. The almonds were put into the pan and lightly toasted, beans and garlic stirred in along with a touch of the olive oil. The beans were topped off with sea salt and freshly ground pepper. A definite repeat recipe.
A delicious and easy way to make green beans (my most favorite vegetable). These are too good to make just for the holidays. I will be making them often. Thanks, V! Made for ZWT3 2007.
Delicious beans! I'm not going to wait for the holidays to have these again. They were simple to prepare and we loved the crunch the almonds added. Thanks V for another winner.
What a wonderful way to jazz up green beans! For a while now the beans at the market here have been less than satisfactory, so when I managed a bag of really great ones from the local Farmers' Market, I wanted to do something out-of-the-ordinary with them, & your recipe allowed me to do just that! There may have been 6 servings, but 3 of us eat them all! Thanks much for this great recipe!!
