This is another holiday favorite side dish. The green beans are crunchy if you don't cook them too long and the garlic and almonds give it an extra crunch. Yum

  1. Place beans in large saucepan and cover with water – bring to boil; cook uncovered for 8-10 minutes until crisp tender.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook garlic in oil for 2-3 minutes. Drain beans then add beans, almonds and pepper to skillet. Toss to coat.

These went great with our Easter feast of pork tenderloin and garlic mashed potatoes with chunky applesauce on the side. This is one of my favorite ways to make green beans. You should try it!

Deliciously garlicy! Love the crunchy addition of the slived almonds. Will make this again!
