A colorful vegetable salad that you can get right out of your garden in the summer. So as you are looking in that new seed catalog don't forget to order the seeds you need for this salad.
- Clean and cut vegetables into small chunks and put in large bowl.
- Add seasonings, sugar and vinegar and stir well.
- Refrigerate at least 1 to 2 hours to blend the flavors.
- The salad makes its own"dressing" from the juices.
EVERYONE LOVED THIS and they didnt believe how EASY it was to make....no fancy ingredients....i Used a mandolin for the carrots and cucumber, a yellow onion, a tomato and lettuce....I didnt add any cauliflower or anything..this ROCKS.
This marinated veggie salad is terrific for summer's fresh produce. My tomatoes were very large so I only used three. I did add a few other spices to the dressing mixture and I think with a salad like this the variations are endless. This would be perfect for a backyard party or picnic.
