Absolutely excellent! I can easily give this recipe 5 (more if I could) stars with no reservations whatsoever. I made a chocolate cake, but when it came frosting, I realized I didn't have any butter or cream in the house. So not only did this recipe save the day, it will also become my go-to chocolate ganache/frosting recipe. It cannot be easier -- one minute in the microwave and stir. The maple gives it a depth of flavor but there isn't a maple taste at all. I used light soymilk and I added a few drops of vanilla. D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!

- Combine the above in a microwave-safe container and microwave for about a minute.
- Stir thoroughly even if it doesn’t look completely melted - It should come together after a bit of agitation, but if the chocolate still isn’t entirely smooth, return to the microwave for 15-30 seconds at a time, watching carefully to ensure that it doesn’t burn.
