  1. I lost my recipe for gak so had to find a new one. This is similar to mine but I wish I could remember the amount of water I used. 4 oz. is to much to mix with glue and to much to mix with the borax. After I got my make clump of gak I poured off about 2 extra oz. of water what would not stir in. My next batch I'm going to try 3 oz. of water in each mixture. Also be sure that that the glue, water and food color is thoroughly mixed. Keep mixing until you can't see water. It makes a difference when added to the borax mixture.

  2. This did not work at all for me. It clumped up immediately and was nothing like Gak or Goo... I wasn't even able to get the food coloring worked into the clump, because it wouldn't "goosh".

  3. This was a fun project but not the consistency of goo; it was more like rubbery playdough.
