Fuzzy Navel Martini

"I got this recipe from a booklet of various martini cocktails. It's rather tasty, and a much more palatable cocktail than some of the stronger martinis I've tried. Even when I don't have peaches on hand to use for garnishing, it's still a great cocktail."

  1. I made this but changed it up a bit. I started with a splash of gin, then added 2 oz of orange flavored vodka and 1 oz of peach schnaps. Lovely! Garnished with a mandarin orange this is a beautiful drink. Definitely only need one before dinner though...

  2. Perfect. . not too sweet, but definitely a strong martini. The floating peach is so pretty! Thanks for sharing this great nightcap for a Sunday evening! Made for my SSaSSy Captain for ZWT6. UPDATE: I drank half of it way too fast. . .so then I refilled the half with club soda and WOW was that good too!

  3. This is a drink you definitely want to sip! Very strong but sweet. Made for ZWT6.

  4. Wow these are strong but go down smooth! I like the flavor of the peach and the sweetness of the peach garnish at the end. Will be making these again! Made for ZWT6 Germany.

  5. Oh YES! One of my fave drinks of 'yesteryear', updated to a cool 'tini! I really liked it! I'll definitely put this in my "Go-To" file, as I usually have these ingredients on hand! I shook the heck out of this, as I love the ice shivers! So delish! I'll be making this again and again (especially in the summer months) and can't wait to have a fresh peach, to garnish! Thanks for sharing, NorthwestGal!

This site used to be awesome. It was at the top of its game when it was called Recipezaar, but that was many years ago. The site was purchased by Scripps and belly-flopped into mediocrity. A few of the faithful members remained, hoping to wait out the storm of corporate nonsense. But alas, it never got better and just continued on its terminal path to nothingness. So most of the loyal members have vanished and made homes at better recipe sites.
