Great taste. However it was TERRIBLY greasy. I think the cornmeal flour and buttermilk from other recipes tends to absorb some of the butter and make it a more enjoyable desert.people found this review Helpful. very, very good, and very, very easy. I was actually kind of mad because people preferred it to my "fancier" butterscotch meringue pie when I made both for family event. I know which one I'll be making more often... if I had any eggs right now, I would be having this pie for my breakfast. I also appreciated that unlike most chess pies, this one does not require any cornmeal product, as I never have any cornmeal in my kitchen. For the record, mine was done in 45 minutes.people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you?
