" Fungus Free" Fridge Cleaner

• Ingredients: 2
• Yields: 1 treatment

ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 liters water
• 1 cup vinegar

directions

1. Mix both together in a large pot.
2. Dip a clean cloth into this mixture and use it to clean your fridge.
3. Do this at least once in a fortnight to keep your fridge fungus free!

This stuff WORKS! Every time I opened my fridge there was a horrible smell, I couldn't quite place it. I've got a baby on the way so I wanted to only use "safe" cleaners, ones without lots of pesticides and yucky chemicals. I found this recipe and so I cleaned out my fridge and used this - worked like a charm on all those little spills that sneak up on you. I put my mixture into a spray bottle and used paper towels. Now I open my fridge and it smells clean! :) hehe. Thanks, Charishma - this is a keeper.

Hi- Thanks so much for sharing! I had a container accidently spill in the bottom of my fridge and did not find it for a month... So I had a scary mess on my hands. This "recipe" really helped me to fix the problem! Thanks so much- I will use this again soon :)

Great recipe! I hadn't cleaned my fridge in ages and tackled it today... I mixed this up in a spray bottle as Megs suggested and now my fridge is sparkling clean! On another note, it works great for cleaning/shining your kitchen floor too (used the leftovers for that)

This is how we clean our fridge, freezer, and also our outdoor coolers. It works great. The only thing we do different is to add a tsp or so of vanilla extract, it helps to remove odors. Be sure and use warm water. :)
