A favorite of Cubans. It shows up on the menu or table in most Cuban households.
- Bake plantains at 375ºF 30-40 minutes till soft.
- Add butter, salt, and mash.
- Serve hot.
I wanted a recipe that didn't fry the plantains. I just used salt and pepper. It still had a slightly sweet taste but wasn't bad.
