Made these for a pot luck today and to quote one of the participants "Mmm mmm I could go into chocolate over load with these" I made using special dark cocoa powder, whole wheat flour and two crushed Heath Bars for the toffee pieces. Thanks for the post.

Oooey gooey and delicious ! As we cannot get toffee bits I used chunky bits of fudge on top. I did cook them for 10 minutes longer and got a perfect brownie texture.

Made these this afternoon for girls night and they were a huge hit. I cheated a touch and like Nonnie4Two I added toffee bits in the batter as well. The girls all loved them. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they were a tad wet for my taste. I tend to like a cakier brownie.

I am going to have to give you 5 stars for this one. Excellent brownies!!! I did do a couple of things different I used milk chocolate chips and whole wheat flour. I also ended up baking mine for 31 minutes, which turned out to be to long as they got kind of cakey. Next time I will have to follow the recipe and bake them for the time stated 22 minutes. I just always poke mine with a toothpick and if it sticks they are not done, but I think this recipe is meant to fudgy as the title states. We will be making these again. Thanks for the recipe.

Yummy! These were very ooey-gooey good! I added some toffee to the brownie batter and then more on top. This is definitely a large glass of milk brownie! Thanks so much! Made for PAC Fall 2007.
