After I combined the ingredients, I cooled it in fridge and then poured the mixture into a zip-loc bag and froze it. This allowed me to easily break the mixture into chunks. Loved the rich, chocolatey flavour! Made for Everyday Holiday Tag-Mar'10.

This was great! It was a bit grainy from the cocoa powder so maybe next time i will cook it longer or use a different powder. I found it hard to let it harden in the freezer for the whole 6 hours. Thanks!

I didn't get to try this because Little Miss (DD) drank the whole thing. She "took" it off the counter and ran outside, she came back with an empty jug and a face full with fudge. Judging from that I think she loved it! It was so simple to make, I used our version of granulated sugar (caster sugar) and I used lactose free milk (so it would be suitable for Little Miss). Thank you Sydney Mike

I have mixed feelings over this one. I reduced the recipe down to one serving and used a high end cocoa powder. When first blended the frozen mix I had to add more milk - several TBLS to get it to blend at all. Once I was finally able to blend it I didn't get slushy, it was like melted fudgecicle so freezing seems unnecessary - chilling would have had the same effect. When I tasted the chocolate hot I thought it tasted good but very rich. After blending it was still very rich so I added more milk and some ice which helped but I ended up adding club soda to get it to a point where I could drink it. I think using reg. Hershey's cocoa might be better - less intense (I usually love anything dark chocolater) . This is the type of drink I want on the spur of the moment so having to make it and freeze it ahead is more effort then I would want to make. If you're someone who likes the really thick drinking chocolate - this is the recipe for you. Made for PRMR TAG.
