Smooth chocolate and pecan pie

- Preheat oven to 350 in medium sauce pan melt butter and add cocoa, stir until smooth add hot water and stir add sugar, salt vanilla and milk.
- Stir until batter is smooth.
- Mix in pecans and pour into 9" deep pie shell.
- Bake for 50 minutes.
This really is my favorite holiday pie! I have been making this same recipe for years and was so glad to see it posted. This pie is a must try if you like fudge! It is so easy to make and I'm always asked for the recipe. I often add extra pecans and it works well with an x-large size pre-made crust. Try it--you'll love it! Thanks for posting it!
