Smooth chocolate and pecan pie


  1. Preheat oven to 350 in medium sauce pan melt butter and add cocoa, stir until smooth add hot water and stir add sugar, salt vanilla and milk.
  2. Stir until batter is smooth.
  3. Mix in pecans and pour into 9" deep pie shell.
  4. Bake for 50 minutes.

This really is my favorite holiday pie! I have been making this same recipe for years and was so glad to see it posted. This pie is a must try if you like fudge! It is so easy to make and I'm always asked for the recipe. I often add extra pecans and it works well with an x-large size pre-made crust. Try it--you'll love it! Thanks for posting it!
