- 2 cups sugar
- 1⁄2 cup cocoa
- 3⁄8 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 5 -6 regular marshmallows, do not use miniatures
directions
- Combine all indgredients except marshmallows in a medium saucepan. Stire well before putting on heat. Bring to a boil and boil 2 minutes. Add the marshmallows and cook until they dissolve. Boil approximately 1 minute. Remove from heat and let cool for 1 minute before putting on cake.
- Note: Prepare cake prior to making the frosting by putting holes in it using the drinking straw. The frosting will run into the holes creating pockets of fudge.
